RD3662-C31 you can create the RAID modes 0, 1, single (JBOD) and large and according to the model its RAID composite in the event of a loss automatically restore. It supports the product SATA 3 transfer rate: Up to 6 GBit/s and all operating capacity. 3.1 (Gen 2) via USB connection is the RAID system connected to a PC, notebook or Mac. 3.1 The USB connector can reach up to 10 Gbit/s, making it twice as fast as a USB 3.0 connection and it simply to 5 Gbit/s. So impressed i have just bought another used one here off desertcart to setup another raid with my remaining 2 old drives. The fan was a bit noisy so i unplugged it as it too is easy to remove etc.
Review: Simple, but Euro Plug PSU block - I'm using this with two 4TB WD Red drives as a raid 1 (each disk is a mirror of the other). It is reasonably quiet... (my laptop fan is noiser), but it may be an issue in a quiet environment. It has been working away for a couple of months now and seems to be fine. I'd have liked some sort of display/diagnostic option to report on the drive status as there is only the two LEDs (one per drive) and they are pretty bright blue.... too bright for some environments, but OK in an office; however this is a lower price end unit and a display may have been too pricey). Mine (sold and shipped by desertcart) came with a Euro plug... which is a bit annoying since I then had to buy an adaptor... the PSU is a seperate block style with the mains plug as part of the block, so with the euro-UK adaptor, it sicks out lot a lot.. It would have been much better to have a separate (perhaps figure of 8 style) mains cable... as these days most people have spare cables around if the one supplied did not have the right plug.

Never owned a standalone raid box before but had a few old HD's laying around so after seeing this on sale used for £50 + postage bought one to try. Within 3-4 mins was up and running so easy to install with the tool less design and the instructions are so simple. Literally put a couple of drives in (takes seconds) Select raid mode you want power on wait a moment then press the reset button and the box auto sets up the desired raid. Power off wait a few seconds and power back on, I'm on Windows 10 so there you go into disc drive management and the new raid will populate and you set it up as you would any other new drive in your system. I'm getting 400mbs on both reads and writes consistently plugged into USB 3.1 Gen 2 port. So impressed i have just bought another used one here off Amazon to setup another raid with my remaining 2 old drives. The fan was a bit noisy so i unplugged it as it too is easy to remove etc.

It has been working away for a couple of months now and seems to be fine.
