I haven't actually used this string in the garden yet for really strong jobs--but--I have pulled on it very hard and it hasn't broken. My other strong string was good for years but did eventually break 'cos of weathering away. However, I am talking after a few years and this string certainly looks the same as that strong string. That's the best I can say really. **Q: Thinking of ordering this to make a macrame wall hanging so does anyone think this would be suitable** A: It may be good to macrame but I think the end product might be abit hairy looking as this product is pure jute. There may be something else out there that would be better like string.
