A lighter rainfly solution was needed for the system, so we set out tailoring our original fly design to fit their need. We reduced the weight by about a third while maintaining the mil-spec toughness of the fly. The major difference between this rainfly and the wolverine is the lack of vestibule space, regarded by the marines as an expendable luxury. Internal loop attachments allow the rainfly to remain attached to the burrow during storage, further decreasing setup time. This simplified configuration caught the attention of special Forces users, and they became some of the first buyers of the armadillo system. This item is for the rainfly kit only. You must purchase the burrow for the full system. Video and advertising says you can leave the rainfly connected to the bednet when you fold it away. However, the model bednet and Armadillo they advertise in their video is not what is received. The products received are different, connections are different, it does not stay on when you fold it away. I just bought this tent for its advertised ability to be folded and deployed as one unit in minutes. Pieces must be placed together separately adding time to setup. For the high price, product should be what they advertise exactly.Also no instructions at all.
