It holds enough food for me to go away for two weeks without having to worry. The battery has lasted forever(12 weeks now). It gives just the right amount of food. You can select how much food you want to give and how often. It took one second to set up on the tank and it is made of strong material. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good feeder for smaller tanks and food types *by S***H on May 8, 2024* I got this feeder thinking that it would handle feeding my Koi while I am away for a period of timeThe auger which moves the fish food can handle smaller varieties of food but not Koi sticksSome of the smaller pelletized food also got stuck in the auger which cut down on the amount of food that would flow to the pondThe dispenser does hold a good amount of food and the programming does allow for some variances in feeding but didn't quite work for my Koi as their main feeder so I use this to feed them smaller treats which I also like to give them occasionally and works well for that ### ⭐ Doesn’t last long *by L***N on September 3, 2024* If you plan on using any kind of remotely solid stick or pellet food of any kind or size it will jam this feeder up. If you leave the timer on and it’s jammed it burns the motor up within weeks let alone the fact that it’ll leave your pets without food. Auger design is good but doesn’t work very well. If you use a flake food this might be a decent option. As many other reviews state you’ll want to throw the thing across the room just trying to get the batteries into it. Unfortunately mine burnt up today and no longer works a month and 4 days after receiving it.
