I have a 55 inch TCL TV and the cover fit, with room to spare.The back does not close completely due to the swivel mount, but the design still kept the TV from getting wet, even during a torrential downpour. The water just ran right off and was channeled away from any remaining opening.There are also small openings (maybe a dime size) on either end on the bottom where some rainwater did accumulate, but it was very little water and more than two inches from the bottom of the TV. Everything stayed dry.This cover slides over the top of the TV. I recommend using a step stool and gently sliding the cover over the TV. Once installed, carefully align the velcro and close it up, then push the TV fully against the wall. I'm not sure how you might do this with a flat mount wall mount, but securing the velcro flaps is really important to keeping your TV dry.This is a soft, non insulated cover. It won't protect against large hail or extreme temperatures.
