A: The 12.8 V Dou is suitable for lithium-ion batteries as well as lead acid batteries.

A: The one I have is a maintenance charger it charges and maintains battery health and longlife

**Q: Where is this made?**
A: The company which is Tecmate was founded in Belgium in 1994. They manufacture chargers for many brand names, however I'm not sure where they are actually made!

**Q: Will this charge a dead 12v auto battery?  Or is it used just to maintain a battery?**
