Battery life is on the low-end of the spectrum, with a maximum of three in my testing, but it does charge fast, and will get you through some tunes or pod casts. The sound quality definitely starts to degrade as the power level drops, as well as its ability to even play songs at all, so make sure it's fully charged before deciding it doesn't work. If you are looking for a more deep base to your sound, you may look at the larger Bluetooth version. This speaker is good, it compares to a louder version of a phone speaker on an iPhone, again, the volume does boost quite a bit. The radio works well and comes in clear, but figuring out what station you are on is a challenge. Charging is a snap, via the USB and charge holds a long time.
