It took a little getting used to where on my hips to wear it for fluid motion (too far down and it would stick). The clicking as it goes around is a little noisy, but not so noisy that it wakes my napping toddler up, just loud enough to need to turn my music up a little bit. I enjoy this hula hoop as an easy activity to do at home on days I can't get outside or to the gym.

### ⭐ bare minimum functionality

it works at the most bare minimum level, but much of what's advertised is completely missing. there's what looks like a tiny coin battery inside that powers the display enough to cycle through options, but the charging port is empty and there's no connectors to charge it even if you disassemble the housing. it's just a battery that doesn't appear to be easily replaceable. the LED "grading" system (as outlined in the instructions) doesn't work because there are no lights in it, only plastic pieces that aren't even attached. it's relatively quiet, I'll give it that. it's also a cute color and the weight feels decent. the track is smooth enough that i didn't have issues with it catching on anything... as long as I'm wearing skin tight clothes, at least. so it does function at the bare minimum level for what it is, but if you were hoping for the counter to work or for the rest of the fun extra features, keep looking. honestly, if you only want the bare minimum hoop, save your money and buy a cheaper one. this one isn't worth the price.
