This is great for any musician or singer, not just pianists. The books are thorough, engaging, and have a lot of activities to ensure students understand the concepts. I like to sit down with students and walk through the lessons with them. This is technically the second level of this series (the first is Level "Preparatory"), but I think most students would be fine to start here instead, since a lot of this book is as introductory as the Prep level. Review: Useful for learning basic theory - I am a beginning piano student and these books were recommended to me by one of my teachers. If you are interested in learning music theory and are self-motivated. I'd highly encourage you to look into these.
