I didn't know that until after i had it assembled. on the pickups, the neck pickup from edge to edge of the electrodes is 54 mm, the rear are about 56-57 mm. yellow pickups are to the bridge. the bridge hardware, I tapped into place with a rubber mallet until they were flush. the 12 string neck sits down pretty far from the strings. I put cardboard card stock under it. 2- 3x5 cards cut to fit in the neck area. it brought the strings to perfect height. screw the necks down, install the pickups, string it and jam.
