It's been a long time since I've used a K&N filter and had forgotten how much I like the quality of them and the cleaning and oiling process. I currently have a Twin Air foam filter on the bike and wanted a back up filter so that I don't have to be down when it is time to clean the air filter. desertcart had a great price on the K&N when I went looking, so I ordered it. It was about a week after I installed it that I went for a ride and I had forgotten that I installed the new air filter. As I was riding, I noticed that the bike seemed a little more peppy and that's when I remembered the new air filter. So for me, I would say the K&N filter has enhanced the performance! My one concern is that hopefully the K&N filter doesn't allow more dirt in when I am riding in dusty conditions. I will be monitoring that to make sure dirt isn't making it past the filter. But if it does a good job with the filtering, I will be very happy because it definitely made a nice difference in the performance! Review: For my CRF 300L - Better than stock.
