I was absolutely blown away by the case system alone and the ingenuity that went into it and the lenses made for a perfect addition! Needless to say I was anxious to try out the Premium HD lenses and CPL Filter next.Full Disclosure: I did purchase the case system and entry level lenses but was sent the Premium HD Wide Lens and CPL Filter to test and review, below I’ll give an unbiased review as well as a few tips to get the most out of the filter.First this is an amazing addition for any mobile photographer and works perfectly with the Bitplay case system or AllClip. Paired up with the Snap Grip and accompanying HD Lens it makes for a well balanced and highly portable camera.Seeing as I often shoot cars the CPL Filter was a must help to minimize reflection. It worked perfectly as seen in the comparison picture and mounting was simple and easy. The CPL Filter is very similar to those used for a DSLR and operation is the same, turning and adjusting it until you cut out the reflection. As pictured you can see how everything makes for a very clean well balanced setup to give you that extra edge to take your best picture. Lastly as with the HD Lenses you’re going to get your best picture using a camera app like Halide that allows you to manually adjust focus and choose lens on multiple camera iPhones. (As a side note Bitplay does also make a CPL Filter called the Advance Circular Polarizer Filter that can be used standalone without an added lens.)The Bitplay ecosystem is a 5 star setup and the CPL Filter is a great addition to the HD Lenses! It’s definitely an item I’ll be using on a regular basis as I photograph vehicles.
