The quality (if you need a lightweight blanket) is excellent, and its great to have a truly woven 100% cotton product. But the photo makes it look much more substantial that it is in reality. Weave is so soft and loose that it transmits light easily if held up to light, and I don't call that a bedspread density. Wish this was the density of the traditional Matelasse bedspreads I have found in the past but can't seem to find today.
