Electric screw drivers are ok but sometimes you want a little more control and feed back. This seems very well made. It is supplied with most of the bits you will need and a drill bit (about 2mm) - which I have actually used for pilot holes. You must note that if you have a selection of old Yankee bits, that these will not fit, it is a long hex type fitting - these are readily available if you need a bit that is different from what is supplied.
