No case - 3 stars *by J***J on November 27, 2024* Have a lot of gear from these guys, pretty much flawless. Should I just toss this gear in a camera bag? No. Include a hard case or stop charging premium prices. Not happy I have to search and spend more on something that should 100% be included. That said, this is a big upgrade from the G4. This is digital and eliminates a lot of pairing, gain and signal issues. Much easier, more reliable and incredible range of 134db. We cover a lot of news and the mic cube now has a micro sd slot and record button making it a standalone recorder or backup. Very cool. The magnetic mount and shoe adapter are the easiest and best I've used. Great work. A lever tightens the shoe mount making it quick and easy to remove. Battery pack (still accepts AA) is new and we'll see if it lasts longer, but it's a nice feature. Again, ANY hard case would have been nice to see hear. I can't imagine anyone buying this without a case unless it's staying in a studio, which is not what most of these are being used for. Wasn't able to get simultaneous recording from cube and lav transmitter together, so maybe I read that wrong it was possible.
