    It does what it should

You really do get lots of light from only a small amount of winding and it's reassuring to know that if it runs down a few more turns gets it going again.  It's a bit short of 'phone connectors unless you are a Nokia user, but I'm sure connectors are easily available for other devices.  A few minutes with a soldering iron got mine working well with my IPaq (a brand that seems to require none of the "hype" that iphones and Blackberries get - they are so good that discerning people buy them anyway!)The torch seems quite robust and solid and comes with a practical holster thing as well as the head light.A nice touch is that when it's off there's still a very dim light from one of the LEDs so that you can find it in the dark!
