I have a very bad habit of sanding my finger down whilst using a power sander due to nerve damage in my finger that means that it does it's own thing. Now I just wrap this tape around that finger when I am sanding, and take it off afterwards. I just tried it out and when I wrap my whole finger including the very tip of my finger, I had a hard time swiping my cell phone with it. However if I left the very tip of my finger uncovered, I was able to swipe the phone good.
