They were also too long, which I expected that, as I usually cut bottoms off of things. I would say the inseam would be around 32" on the xl bibs, so if you're tall they would work out. I returned them, however, because they were way too big for me. Since I am a 44" waist, and the xl bibs supposedly fits a 40-42" waist, yet these were still too big, I would say from the waist size the sizing chart states, you could easily add at least another 4". So the xl bibs could easily fit a 44-46" waist and still have a little wiggle room. update: I ordered a size large and they are still a little too big and long. I really liked them though, I had enough room to layer if needed, but returned because the length of them.
