The local building supplier told my contractor that there was absolutely nothing available to replace the broken knobs on two bathroom mirrored medicine cabinets. I was looking for a suitable substitute when I came across these. Perfect! Made of acrylic, looks like glass mirror. Works with my dated décor beautifully. Very strong, effective adhesive. Easy to apply. As other reviewers have noted, wherever you place them, that is where they will stay - so take care to position them right the first time.Update over 3 years later: One of the knobs cracked vertically about 6 months after installation. Mirror is large and heavy. Worked just fine until recently when I took the other mirror and forcefully opened it and pushed half of the other knob off of its base leaving half of the knob and part of the adhesive attached. My fault I called the Mirart company, reached a human immediately (no phone tree, located in the US) and she gave me great step by step advice. Outstanding customer service.
