The pictures are worthy of a museum art catalog and I spent a lot of time just looking through the book. Then you start wanting to create, or at least I sure did, and the book teaches you how. Even if I can't attain the perfect project I will endeavor to try as this artist inspires the stitches to come out. While this is one of the more costly books on embroidery I've purchased it is worth every penny. If you love to stitch I think you would love this amazing book. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a refreshing take on Hand and Machine Sewing *by 2***9 on Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2014* Just about everything in this book is a something I want to make. Although Yoko Saito is using "taupe" colors or softer colors for her designs they are very appealing to the eye. I would definitely have some sewing experience if you plan to tackle these. There are embroideries as well as applique throughout the book. Directions to make the projects have been translated from Japanese into English so you might have some "hmmm...what's that mean....moments".. However, the translators have done a wonderful job so you should be able to follow the instructions. I do say in a lot of my comments to make sure you ....read the instructions more than once....twice....three...times ....I usually have a "aha"moment when I do that so when I make a project it goes smoothly without the frustration of having to rip out and do over as much... and that is a relief for me... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars *by G***. on Reviewed in the United States on April 10, 2017* Very nice book on embroidery designs.
