However it would not switch on. Following all instructions and the problem page I tried again. Unplugged it, drained it and left it overnight to air I tried again today. It turns on...one puff if2 sweet smelling steam then it turns itself off again. Tried several times but cannot get it to stay in. There's a good supply of water in it. It's not stood on carpet but it just will not stay on. I'm going to give it one more day then return it....update...the company replaced this for me as it has a one year guarantee. Received it yesterday and it's absolutely brilliant. Appears I just got a bad one at first and this can happen about anything. I can see why! Yet, in the end, even these are newly converted to a life of diffused oils.
