It has been cleaned, but corners and cracks are filled with the grey lint that CPU fans always trap in some places and parts. As noted the power cable is about 1/3 the length of my original fan's cable. I bought the original fan on a used heat sink, the old fan does not spin freely, so I bought this replacement. I will use this to cool the hot side of a Peltier junction a thermo-electric cooler for insulin in an insulated cooler box. I was too busy to test the fan today.
