Review: Best brand of alternative milk - I absolutely love this brand , and will go out of my way to a store that carries it . I am not totally dairy free, but do love to add that to my smoothies. This brand is the cleanest and has no additives to it . It also is creamy and delicious .

Love that there’s just hazelnuts in this and not all the other additives, gums or chemicals like other nut milks have. It’s definitely more expensive but you truly get what you pay for. It also doesn’t clump up like some nut milks seem to do when added to coffee/tea.

A: Yes GF

**Q: Is this a refrigerated item?  If so, how does it stay cold in transit?**
A: No it’s aseptically packed so it is shelf stable. But should be refrigerated after opening.

**Q: Has anyone consumed this after 10 days of opening? Seems like it’s still fine**
A: I have used the same container of Elmhurst Unsweetened Walnut milk past 10 days and it’s fine.

**Q: Hi. About how far out is the expiration date from the date of purchase?  thanks!**
A: Hi there and thank you for your question.  So long as the carton is unopened, our Unsweetened Milked Hazelnuts is best consumed until the date stamped near the top of the package or about 180 after it has been produced. Once opened, it does need to be refrigerated and should be used within 7 - 10 days for best quality.

I really like the taste of this. Great in cereal and coffee. The texture is on the watery side. I believe this product is worth the price. Hazelnut has to be one of my favorite ingredients in products.
