As per the instructions,I cleaned/prepped the areas with the primer swabs included with the kit. The easiest way to install these is to expose the glue strip on each end,then peel back the main strip about 4 to 6 inches on each end,letting the ends of the red plastic protective strip hang down over the OUTSIDE of the shade. Starting on the front edge,place the shade where you want it LIGHTLY so you can move it if need be,then place the other end on the door,again lightly. When you have both ends where you want them, peel the remainder of the red plastic off and attach the shade. Then run your finger or thumb down the mounting surface several times applying pressure to make sure the tape adheres well. That's it. Repeat for the other vent shades and you're done. These fit my 2024 Ram 1500 Classic extended cab very well with no issues except that the front edge of the front door shades actually come down onto the window channel rubber. Time will tell how they adhere to the rubber,but so far,they seem to be firmly attached. One last thing--there are directions in the kit for the first 48 hours after you install the shades. Do not wash the vehicle,do not drive extremely fast,and then re-heat the mounting surfaces with a blow drier or heat gun one time within the 48 hour period, unless you live in the desert where the sun is super hot. Time will tell how well they perform,but as of now I'm happy with my purchase.
