Review: Great quality - I built a so called "solar generator", and needed a good bus bar with at least 200 amps capacity. This bus bar has four 3/8 studs and three 20 amp screw terminals as well. They are easy to install and perform terrific. I have my 12v cigarette lighter/USB output, 45 amp AC charger, solar charge controller all connected to this bus bar. This is the perfect power distribution solution for my project. It is very robust, extremely versatile and offers top performance up to 250 amps. The protective covers are also well designed and do their job very well. I am super pleased with these bus bars, and highly recommend them. They are a super value for the price and I give them 5 stars.
Review: Excellent bus bar for any RV project - Ordered these in black and red to redo the miserable OEM electrical on my A-frame camper. Everything in the electrical was a haphazard wirenut and electrical tape catastrophe. Using these bars, I was able to redo everything in a far less haphazard fashion, wire in a solar controller, and in general tidy everything up and allow much easier installation of all future projects. Troubleshooting will also be vastly improved. One thing to note when purchasing these: These are not just 4x large posts. There are 3x smaller screws meant for smaller connectors as well. While my setup still required additional small size connector bus bars, I barely needed them, and most won't need them at all I'd imagine.

**Q: I Just installed the first connection and decide to remove it. The lock washer works really well so now the stud turns inside the plastic housing. Any**
A: Yup, know what u mean, did the same. U need to hold the bolt on the threads with vice grips, than remove the block from your mount. Get a new s/s bolt, and epoxy it in at the head cause the plastic is all rounded and won't hold when you tighten the new connection. Hope this helps Ed K

**Q: How many wires can be connected to each 3/8 stud terminal?**
A: Wires can be stacked up to 5/8" on each of the 4 studs. The number of wires you can connect depends on the thickness of the terminals attached to your wire.

**Q: I need a block with individual studs, not connected by the plate.  Can the metal plate be removed?**
A: The metal plate that the studs are on is connected to the plastic with screws, but if you wanted 4 individual sections you wouldn't be able to do it because of the location of the screws. You could cut it in half and have 2 sections with 2 studs and still be able to have it screwed to the plastic.

**Q: how do you connect the battery?**
A: In order to use these distribution blocks you connect the (+) side of the battery to the red distribution block and the (-) side of the battery to the black distribution block. You can then connect your accessories to the distribution blocks instead of directly to the battery. Remember to size your wiring according to the expected load and use anti-seize on the threads to prevent galling.

This is a great solution for an overloaded terminal on a battery or starter relay. Perfect way to get power from your battery straight to your accessories. Making your own bus bar at home wouldn't be very difficult, but the plastic housing and cover make this one safe and look so much better for close to the same price. I always look for products to be accurate of how they were advertised, and this one doesn't disappoint. Dimensions, quality, and looks are all there. I'd recommend.
