The brown color matched perfectly even though they were not sold together. The color and fabric are rich and gorgeous. It drapes nicely ,but does not cling. It is a great piece for travel. Squeeze it into your carry on and put it on without ironing. Not crazy about the style. I doubt it would look good with anything other than the matching dress.Too matronly. But, the 2 pieces look professional for work. After work, take the jacket off, throw a pretty scarf on, change your shoes and jewelry and you will be ready for a party or nice dinner. I agree with the reviewers who disliked the shoulder pads. I removed them pretty easily (and carefully) with a seam ripper.
