I've never had pillows with Goose Feathers that didn't flatten in a day or two. I've used these for a few weeks to see how they might wear. The material for the pillow is very breathable, and the construction is something you would expect from a high-quality product. I'm not sure what is inside the pillow construction. There seems to be some kind of fabric in the center like canvas. At first, I thought this might have to go back. It seems to sound a little crinkly, but it quickly becomes soft but firm. The comfort is off the charts. Because it returns to its full fluffy size, I thought it would be too stiff. When laying down it conforms to a custom size you want without it flattening out. This might be the reason for the firm fabric it's made from. We cannot be more happy with these pillows. They come in two to a box and are rolled up very tightly for shipping. When you open the wrapping you will see how quickly they fluff up. Best of all, there are no sharp and pointy feathers that might poke through the pillowcase! They had been squished to fit in their box, and quickly plumped up to regular size. The insert suggested letting your new pillows bounce around in a tumble dryer, which I used to do when I had a dryer. I can report that even without a dryer your pillows will fluff up. They are soft and priced well. I am satisfied with the size of the standard pillow, it is plenty big enough for an average person.
