The quality of metal seems to be of a nice heavy material however I attempted to use them today on my side mount Optima battery studs and they did not fit.  Thus I was unable to use them with my jump starter to jump start my SUV battery.

These should be made out of copper because it conducts electricity better and is more flexible. The original ones were made of copper.
