The wheels glide smoothly over the concrete floor.Of course, after I move the bench around, I immediately release the wheels, so the bench stays firmly in place to avoid an accident.I am not having issues with the wheels holding that much weight, I have forgotten to release them on a few occasions, nevertheless I recommend that you do not leave them permanently carrying too much weight, as eventually, it could affect the roundness of the wheels, and ending in a jumping bench every time it's moved.Also, these casters do not have locking wheels (which will be redundant, as there is no need for it), it is advised for safety reason to release them while not in use.Installation requires you be precise with your measurements, especially if you are attaching them to wood legs. Otherwise one may end with an unstable bench.In the pictures, you will see one wheel with the lever push down and the other one is released, while in the release position the caster will rest on the floor without carrying any weight, the bench legs are the ones carrying all the weigh.When the wheels are set up as per the instructions, they lift the bench by about 3/8" (10 mm), so definitely these casters are for fairly smooth floors, they may not work as well on floors with bumps or holes.I hope that you like this review. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for Heavy Tables *by S***R on February 26, 2018* I attached these casters to the outer four 4X4 legs on a very heavy duty six legged 8' X 32" work bench with the included 16 screws. Don't even think about fitting the casters to the legs when the table is upright unless you're comfortable marking the holes when your head is on the floor. Just tip up the side you're measuring and follow the kind of lousy instruction sheet's screw hole measurements to the letter. It's important to attach each caster at the same height on all four legs. My workbench has several heavy tools installed plus cases of smaller tools that add up to a few hundred pounds, and the casters pick up the table easily for movement. My only gripe is when I move the table back in place against a wall, two of the casters have their lift pedals under the table, and it's a pain to rotate them 180 degrees by hand so I can easily access all petals for the next move. I give them a two thumbs up, and recommend them to anyone who has a heavy table you need to move around. I never leave the casters in a lift condition when the table is parked. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy casters but need tiny tweaks *by W***S on July 7, 2019* I got these to make my new (very heavy) workbench movable. On the basis of one day's use, I'd rate these a 4++. The parts are sturdy, the levers work smoothly, and the bench rolls well on my concrete garage floor. There is a small tweak I would alert buyers to. Double check your layout before drilling the holes for the screws. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the original measurements are metric. I found that the spacing they tell you to use (2" and 4-3/4" from the bottom) are a little off from each other. Also, when I installed the first two on one side at the 2" from the bottom measurement left the wheel just grazing the floor. On the second side I moved everything up by 1/8" and the upper measurement by another 1/32" (so 2-1/4" and 4-29/32" from the bottom).
