Sure it is wireless once you plug the dongle in the USB port on the front. And no battery housing it is built in - so you have to charge it buy plugging it into a USB cable. It is a piece of junk and I would highly advise you to steer clear of this controller or any other product by this company - Shame on them! ### ⭐ one joystick (left side) didn't work *by B***A on December 22, 2018* looks like good quality but one stick didn't even work. I was too busy when i got it to return it. my bad but seeing it on my list with a chance to rate it.
