Actual menu size differs from posted reviews.** A: I'm also a size 9. I originally got the 41/42, which fit perfect dry, but when I got in the water with them, my foot had too much play. I'm returning them for the 39/40. I'd rather them be a little tight than get blisters from my foot sliding around. I am a 8.5/9 and it is comfortable. **Q: If I wear a womens 9, what size should I order?** A: You should check the diagram they have on shoe size, and order according the european sizing. If you wear a womens 9 you should order a 7/8, this works best for barefoot use or with a 2mm neoprene sock. 7/8 is a 41/42 european size. **Q: How comfortable are these? do i need socks/booties? i wear a size 7/8, what eu size is that? do these make you swim fast (snorkeling)?** A: Hi XXVll_Doctor! Thanks for writing in to us here at Pleasure Sports. 41/42 in Eu Sizing. I like these a lot, you do not have to wear socks if you do not want to. As far as making you swim fast, the longer the fin the faster you typically go. If you want a fast fin - I like the Mares Avante Tre or the Mares Volo Power. We have those in stock too. This is a great all around fin, a little more ridged than say the Avante Tre and shorter.
