You don't need anything else! **Q: Is this controller ok for a 120 watt solar panel!! How do you wire the vehicle battery as it doesn't seem to have a negative connection!! Thanks** A: I assume you are asking about the MPPT 165 Duo Digital, the smallest model in the range. I have one connected to a 120 watt solar panel and it performs very well. As to your wiring issue the simple answer is the negative connection is the third from the left but you need to understand how this relates to the whole system. I will make further assumptions. In a motorhome there will be an existing transformer/rectifier which controls the charging of the leisure (or habitation) battery and may also provide a trickle charge to the vehicle battery (very useful in winter). My motorhome has a Schaudt Electroblock EBL 119 transformer and the accessories supplied with the Voltronic include a cable to connect to the solar input on this unit. Existing wiring then passes current to the two batteries. This was a very easy installation.
