I've been using it for a few days and I have found it to be all I was hoping for. I wear tennis shoes for my cardio classes and yoga socks for yoga, although my feet grip well without the socks -- it's just my preference. The mat really is top-quality. There are no rough edges. Even the label with the company's name sewn is neatly and perfectly stitched into one corner. It's a nice thick mat and stays in place on my wall-to-wall carpeting without damaging the carpet. It is substantial under my feet, yet light enough for me to roll up and carry out of the room when I am finished using it. It comes in a carry-bag and includes a pair of gloves, although I have not used to gloves yet. This seller also provides "Lifetime After-Sales Service" once you register your name and order number with them. I did have an issue, as the first mat I received was damaged in shipping.
