Toolless flame adjustment, small size and just the right amount of weight are other pluses. It lights reliably every time for me For those having difficulties here are a few tips: - Use triple refined butane. Refillable lighters are tempermental and don't like impurities. - Be sure to blead the air out before refilling. That tool is included in the package. If you want to refill to the maximum do the refill procedure twice, which includes bleading off the air twice. When finished you'll notice the fuel level is at the top of the window. - Let the butane stabilize for about five minutes after each filling. - Don't set the flame to maximum. It wastes fuel and makes it harder for the piezo-electric to ignite the gas. It also takes the flame a second longer to die after releasing the button.
