Aggression and melody compete to draw your ear, and as a whole product, Teras is an impressive and polished creation. It is an album that many pretenders wish they could create, with each song having subtle differences that don't make the listen boring.My only criticism is that the overall high quality makes it hard to pick out individual songs that stand out greatly from the rest. I would recommend buying this album on CD simply to have the whole thing together so you can throw it on and enjoy for the entire runtime. It's not really made to be chopped up into specific songs.Overall, if you like Black Metal you will like this, especially if you have ever liked any of Naglfar's other albums. "Teras" is the first full album that I have bought from Naglfar although I was aware of the band.The album is a crushing piece of work! all of the tracks have the cold guitars,bone crushing drums and venom spitting vocals of Black Metal but this holds the melody and thus making it more accessible to a wider pool of listeners,the production of the album is top notch and crystal clear.
