**Q: Would this work on a 2005 bmw1200 gs.  Does it keep battery topped uo if not using**
A: Yes it will, and canbus Optimates can be switched to normal operation too to charge-up other stuff, often useful

**Q: Hi - is this the correct one for a Harley Sportster? Thanks**
A: Hi - the Optimate will do bikes with Canbus wiring (my BMW) and can switch to keep charging via other wiring systems as well. The instructions explain how to switch from one system to another as you need, not sure which will apply to Harley but it does both anyway.

**Q: Is this compatible with a 2019 tiger 1200?**
A: Providing you have a din socket you can charge the bike through then it will work.

**Q: I assume i can use this on 2018 f850 gs in can-bus mode?**
A: I'm using this on my 2019 R1250RS on can- bus mode successfully.
