The whistle was unplayable, had to be returned to the manufacturer and was found by the manufacturer to be flawed. In addition the was a serious amount of metal residue in the mouth piece which leads to the conclusion that there was little or no guality control in the manufacture process. This is a relative expensive whistle and one would more attention to detail. Getting my money back is proving to be a difficult and frustrating ongoing process. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great whistle but you need practice! *by K***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 November 2017* These Chieftain whistles are expensive but simply the best in terms of tone. However, you do have to practice, as with any instrument, a lot to get effortlessly fluent in the higher octave. Don't think you can just pick it up and get a wonderful sound straight away. Fairly easy to play the first octave, not quite so easy to master the second. Perhaps with diligence I''ll get there.
