Its a very good latch. I am using about 20 of them in my motor home, you just have to decide what strength you need, I think most of mine are 10# pull strength. Just make sure you align them right. **Q: My original latch says southco and "patented" on the latch. the new ones do not say "patented". are these counterfeit? c3-810 is nowhere on the bag.** A: Don’t know origenal latch mfg for my motor cabinets, but these latches were direct exact replacements for my 2016 Bounder motor home. Origenal latches broke 1st yr we had motor home because Fleetwood did not line up latch correctly. Had to replace 2 latches over 4 yrs ago & replacements have worked ever since. **Q: I’d like to buy the female side of the latch.
