Obviously I wasn't going to get brushes on par with higher-end companies, but I did expect they'd be at least as good as e.l.f. or Wet n' Wild brushes. While they definitely could've had worse quality brush fibers for the price, many of the brushes came with uneven, jagged cuts that looked like someone who didn't know what they were doing cut them out with scissors. Several of the brushes were coated in a crusty, yellow-ish substance which I'm hoping was glue (it came off with a aggressive wash and no fibers came out during or after), and the ferrule on the fan brush is completely out of allignment. Eye brushes are all HUGE (I can't see them fitting into a crease easily) and with the exception of the flat brush (which is really more of a concealer type), they all look to be about the same, unimpressive shape. The only brush I was satisfied with out of the box was the domed powder brush which, though a little on the small side, is comparable to the powder brush I have from the Tarte unicorn set that was released earlier this year. The case they come in is also pretty decent and honestly I'd expect to pay $14 for a case like that alone.I bought these as a gift for a friend so I'm pretty disappointed with all the issues that they had. I'm going to try to trim them into a cleaner shape with an electric trimmer and hope I can make them presentable enough. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Completely Destroyed, but... *by A***. on January 3, 2018* Package arrived in fine condition. Contents look as though they suffered manufacturing defects. Bubbling on vinyl of case on both sides covering almost the entire case. Elastic was horribly bunched up so that it will not stop rolling when I insert brushes. Bristles, upon closer inspection, appear to have suffered heat damage (they are curling). Brush handles are a revolting purplish grey, not the lovely iridescent or pearlescent purple depicted, but I would have lived with this if the entire thing were not so completely damaged. Does seem to be good *quality* other than the defects and I'm disappointed I got an obviously damaged product. I am currently attempting to return for a refund. I spent double the money in order to get the case, but the case is ruined. I will change to a 5 star review for the benefit of the seller if I am able to get a full refund. Will update.UPDATE: Was issued a refund almost immediately upon request! While I am disappointed in the condition of the product, I would like to endorse Beauty Wig World (the seller) for their honesty.
