Will be using its vibration function hourly everyday.** A: Yes, they stop working after a while, but after the end of the sequence of intervales you have chosen.So if you chose intervals of for instance 60 minutes each, for 12 times, I think the device will not stop during 24 hours, and will vibrate hourly all day **Q: can I change the exercise and rest times to anything I want e.g. 4 min 45 secs then 15 seconds rest? and does this then keep repeating until I'm finished?** A: Yes, it can do that. It will repeat for as many rounds as you set it for. I use it for tabatas so 20 secs work 10 secs rest for 8 rounds. I also use it as a standard round timer 3 min rounds with 1 min break and number of rounds I want. Its great for hiit training and intervals. **Q: can i use this for sprints ie 20 metre dash then reset ?** A: This timer can be used as a stopwatch to time your 20 metre or it can be set to run 1 or 2 timed intervals. Fantastic ! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall a good product *by R***W on 2 June 2014* Since I do a lot of battle rope workouts, shadow boxing on timed intervals and tabata sprints, I really needed a timer that would actually keep track of what I was trying to do. So after reading the reviews, I bought this. First impressions weren't good. No instruction manual and I had to go on Youtube to look up the basic controls on how to set it, though to be fair I am terrible with even basic technology. After trying it out for a few weeks, I've grown quite fond of it actually. The buttons don't stick out so there's really very little chance of you pressing the buttons by accident. It's actually pretty straight forward to set up timed intervals with. The bleeping sound and vibrations can be set to fairly quiet or pretty loud which is good depending on where you are and what you're doing. I was a little worried I might have broken the buttons early on as I have quite strong fingers and tend to apply more pressure than I want to but to date it's still functioning properly. Definitely made the right purchase.
