I stumbled across this one on desertcart about 6 months ago and thought I give it a try. To my amazement this wok pan is not only deep but light and sturdy. My wife loves it so much as she can now stir fry literally larger volumes without being afraid of spilling the food over the side of the wok. It is light to pick up and easy to clean. This is a good quality wok that is fit for any purpose so I have even purchased a second one for spare cos I know it would be almost impossible to find a similar spec wok anywhere else on the high street. I'm blind, I need a wide base to sit neatly on the hob ring.** A: It’s about 7 inches externally. Note that the top is more like 12 inches than the advertised 11.
