**Q: What wattage microwave is recommended for your kiln?**
A: Between 750 and 900 is fine.  Go to www.chatterglass.wordpress.com to find out all you need to know about microwave kilns

**Q: Have used this today. Used it for 12 mins 900 watt microwave and nothing happened. How long does it take?**
A: You do need more time with the bigger microwave kilns so keep adding a minute at a time until you get the desired effect. It depends if you just want to tack fuse something in which case your glass won’t glow red hot. I started with a small kiln and I could fully fuse some things in about 12 to 15 minutes but you definitely need to give it more time in a bigger kiln.

**Q: Can this be used for small clay items?**
A: Not sure sorry, I have only ever used glass in it.

**Q: What is the largest object you can make**
A: I have made a coaster that is about 7 X 7 cm....but it's better for smaller items.
