## Description

Stanbroil Stainless Steel Drop-in Fire Pit Pan with Linear Jet Burner Our drop-in fire pit pan with linear burner can be used for custom-built fire pits or your own outdoor fire feature to complement your landscaping project. With just the push of a button, a beautiful clean-burning fire appears atop a bed of tempered fire glass gems, making it an inviting addition to your outdoor living and entertainment spaces. To install this burner pan, you simply drop it into your fire feature’s opening, where it will rest against a built in or added ledge. Once installed, your fire media will rest on the pan to be easily visible. By having the pan at the top of the fire feature, the space below is left empty, which greatly improves air flow. This is especially helpful for propane fueled fires, which require oxygen to keep their flames burning. This empty space also means less spending for you, as you are not required to use fillers, such as sand or lava rock, to ensure your beautiful fire media rests at the top of your fire feature where it can best be seen. Review: The components are steel and well machined. Gas manifolds that don't have to operate at high temperatures are quite expensive, so I can understand some of the high price. Assuming you already have blocks, metal, or poured concrete to build your table, and you just bought this, you still have a few other expensive components to add. Other reviewers complained that this will fill with water and won't work. I couldn't test with propane, but i did connect the manifold to a fairly strong air pump I have. With water in the manifold, the air pump was able to quickly make a lot of the water sputter out, and the air then flowed freely; there was still some water in the system but that surely would have evaporated while using it. I suspect the system would have lit if the water column wasn't so big that it creates a blockage. Also, what's pictured (a wide metal basin holding rocks or charcoal) isn't what you'll get. To achieve that look, you'll need a large metal basin in which you'd install this burner assembly. I'm a bit disappointed by the value for money and overall aesthetic.

After a rain, the nozzles fill up with water and will not light. Stanbroil does not sell a lid to fit this. I’m looking for a resolution. Otherwise, it’s beautiful, and easy to hook-up.
