In this project, we are using a chemical reaction to make a very strong polymer. In a chemical reaction, two substances undergo a chemical change to form a new substance. And what is a polymer? A polymer is a substance made up of long chains of molecules. Polymers are typically flexible materials like plastic or gum. When white vinegar meets baking soda, the acetic acid in the white vinegar and the sodium bicarbonate in the baking soda react, and producing small bubbles. A non-Newtonian fluid is a fluid that does not follow Newton's law of viscosity. In non-Newtonian fluids, viscosity can change when under force to either more liquid or more solid. Ketchup, for example, becomes runnier when shaken and is thus a non-Newtonian fluid. When the candle is lit, the egg becomes covered with soot. These are called hydrophobic particles.when you dip the egg in water, it carries with it micro bubbles of air to reduce contact between the soot and the water. These micro bubbles form a film of air that acts as a mirror once in the water. Because of the density of the liquid. As the sugar water is denser than water, it gradually spreads towards the clear water away from the rainbow sugar, and by observing the process of spreading, you can see where the ″sugar″ travels. ## Features - 150 EXCITING EXPERIMENTS FOR KIDS: DIY projects to get kids' minds humming, try one of these science experiments, which cover topics like earth, surface tension, chemistry, physics and more - EASY-TO-FOLLOW EXPERIMENTS MANUAL: Well-illustrated in a step-by-step format, which makes the experiments easy to follow. it is easy and fun to incorporate basic lessons when doing science experiments with your kids at home and in a hands-on way. - ALMOST TOOLS & MATERIALS NEEDED INCLUDED: high-quality lab science tools and kids-friendly materials. kids can wear goggles to do experiments like real scientists. there are plenty of cool projects you can do with regular household items. - FUN EXPERIMENTS TIME FOR LITTLE SCIENTIST: Nurture your kids' curiosity by introducing simple science experiments! With 150 exciting experiments included, there's plenty to keep children entertained while learning about science in a fun and engaging way.The instructions are clear and easy to follow, making it simple for kids and adults to work through the activities together. Another great feature is that many of the experiments can be completed using common household items, so there's no need to buy lots of additional materials.Overall, this is an excellent educational gift that provides hours of hands-on fun and encourages curiosity and learning through exciting experiments. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing value *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 18 September 2026* AMAZING value for money. LOTS of experiments and my 5 year old daughter absolutely loves it. Great bonding activity. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tons of fun experiments *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 30 July 2025* Lets be clear, its 150 experiments that are included in the book and not all the bits and bobs that get kids excited are not there. It easy to use just follow the instructions and quite fun. Good quality experiments as well as some to do outdoors. You have all different types of stuff inside the box. There are big experiments and small experiments some that are quite challenging and some that are just outright fun. The only reason i would give it a 4 star and not 5, some of the materials are quite weak or flimsy. But a small box with tons of fun and learning. ## Frequently Bought Together - UNGLINGA 150 Experiments Science Kits for Kids, S.T.E.M Educational Toys for Boys Girls Birthday Gift Ideas, Volcano, Chemistry Scientist Set - Science Kidz Electronics Kit - Electric Circuits - 188 - Science Experiments Set For Kids Age 5-10 - Educational STEM Toys - Science Mad Circuit Lab For Kids - Learn About An Introduction to Electronic Circuits With 50+ Safe, Educational Experiments - Includes Light, Magnetic and Touch Control, 8+ Years --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pl/products/559040801-150-experiments-science-kits-for-kids-chemistry-s-t-e](https://www.desertcart.pl/products/559040801-150-experiments-science-kits-for-kids-chemistry-s-t-e) --- *Product available on Desertcart Poland* *Store origin: PL* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
