Ideal for digital satellite and terrestrial TV setups, it ensures easy installation and reliable performance for the modern connected home. ## Description This Labgear LDL204R is a mains powered 4 way DigiLink amplifier, it connects to a satellite box RF output or direct to a TV aerial. The Labgear LDL204R also has a separate input for radio as well, and the TV input has Labgear 4G filtering to reduce potential interference. This fully screened 4 way TV and FM/DAB amplifier is fully compatible with Infra Red Magic Eye remote Control systems. This makes it great for use in digital satellite home installations, where the output from a digibox can be distributed to several rooms with the capability for full remote control of the digibox in these rooms. The addition of a number of Infra Red Magic Eyes, such as the Philex SLx Link, in the relevant rooms completes the installation. Please note that rooms without a Magic Eye will still be able to view the output of the digibox but will not have any control over the box. Separate inputs are provided for UHF TV (470-790 MHz) and for FM/DAB (47-230 MHz). Remote capability is provided over a 5-15 MHz RF return path. All amplifier outputs are line powered at 9V DC to supply remote infra-red receivers. The line power at any output(s) can be short-circuited safely without affecting the operation of any other output(s). Also suitable for direct amplification of digital terrestrial TV (Freeview) signals and the UHF input can be connected directly to a UHF antenna instead of a satellite receiver. This was simple to install (5 minutes) and the impact was instant. The tv’s came on. I could find additional freeview channels and all my picture issue vanished. Review: Perfect for Sky RF2 9V passthrough - I bought the newer version of this but it didn't have Sky 'Magic Eye' passthrough. Tv signal and quality went down not up. Also when attaching antenna cable with a screw fitting, and was fully tightened. The fitting still was loose and didn’t make a good connection.
