You must pack the coffee ground firmly in the ground basket in order to extract the most flavor. This is pointless with weak coffee beans, other than dark roast. With that one, it worked! My machine extracts very decent flavors out of it. So, although it's not labelled as "expresso", it works for me. By contrast, the expresso brands I used, do not yield more taste and aroma.
