Sure, they cost more, but give more light, and will save money in the long run. Too bad, they appear to be no longer available on Amazon! The soft white is much better than the natural white bulbs. I replaced other light bulbs with these because they give off almost no heat. The former light bulbs were hot to the touch after a couple of minutes of being on. These light bulbs are only slightly warm when touched (even after a longer duration of being on). My room gets hot easily (to the point that I hardly need to turn on the heat when it's in the 30s °F outside), so it's important for me to reduce heat and energy as much as possible during the summer months.They give off a decent amount of light, and I like their soft-white (yellowish) color, which softens the room and matches my light tan walls. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect match to original bulbs! *by H***. on September 24, 2020* I have two ceiling light fixtures with fans that were installed close to three years ago.
