The floating types i have found gave my fish Swimbladder disease symptoms due to them sucking in too much air. This is probably their best product for ANY goldfish. I have had Oranda's, lionheads, Ryukin fish and have fed them exclusively this product and green peas. I currently have over 15 blackmoor who are currently being fed ONLY this product and nothing else and the growth is amazing. I highly recommend nothing but this product for goldies. **Q: Hi can you tell me how old this food is? Does it have an expiration date?** A: I recently bought a package and it has a expiration of 5/2020. **Q: Are they Sinking or floating pellets?** A: The Lionhead pellets by Hikari are sinking pellets to help the fish avoid gulping air while they eat. **Q: Is there any vegetable matter in the ingredients?
