The story continues... I brought it back home and plugged it in and it booted up and repaired itself (SSD) and has been running just fine. I did get a quick reply from GMKtec support on creating a boot memory card which requires a 7GB download, not happening on my cell phone but I will do that on one of the 3 x 32gb memory cards arriving today. Also got a prompt answer on the video Rez so I will be trying a small 1920x1280 display arriving tomorrow as a primary or secondary display for CAD use.
