It's new to me though and I really like it. I have several garden hoses with replacement ends thanks to my dogs (past and present) who have chewed the hoses. This tool and .041 wire from H. Freight replaced the cumbersome hose clamps. By the way, I think the standard wing nut as on this model is perfectly adequate. No need in my opinion for the more expensive t-handle version. Tool seems very robust for what it is. I know now that there are YouTube vids how to make your own and while that's intriguing (cuz i do stuff like that) I'm happy I bought this little gem! I use a pair of lineman pliers to get enough torque to cinch the wire.
